And I Wonder...

I want you to go to a mirror and look into it. Count how many flaws you notice.......If you actually counted the flaws then something is wrong. No one is perfect so accept them. I am flawless in mine own eye. I've realized what I'm not good at. I've realized that stupid mistakes are going to happen. I've realized that I'm an easy person to like and just as easily dislike. I've realized that there are alot of things in my life that I must work to be better at. I've realized that there is ALWAYS room for improvement. And I Wonder......

I wonder how you improve perfection. As i said before I think I am flawless. The answer I've come up with....Well, the first step is realizing your faults. Being aware and accepting of the fact that no one in this world is perfect is that in itself as close to perfection as you will ever get. No one in this world can ever reach their peak if they think that they have already reached that plateau. The fact that you can never be as good as you can be is the basis for my belief in the word progress. PROGRESS means the world to me. It gives me something to look forward to because I have accepted that I can do better. I can dress better, eat better, look better, organize better, prioritize better, strive better, study better, draw better, sing better, dance better, act better, and im sure by now you get the point. What is true for me is true for every human being. Don't let anyone ever tell you that you aren't good enough because they aren't perfect. You aren't good enough just means that someone else have progressed further than you have and it should only be motivation to do better. BETTER BETTER BETTER. PROGRESS PROGRESS PROGRESS.

I won't rant and rave any longer but I had to let it be known. I'm done. (P.S. you can probably look forward to a tattoo with progress on me sometime...I haven't quite made my mind up yet but I will)

The Gender Class

So this girl and I tend not to agree on many things with. I personally think that society has grown beyond he's a pimp she's a hoe. When a rapper talks about hoes and bitches, just think about what he's actually talking about. HOES AND BITCHES! Celebrities are sort after by groupie women and gold diggers in general. These women sleep with them and bow to their every whim to be put in a video. You can't seriously tell me that intelligent, self-respecting women would allow themselves to be portrayed like that. Now on a more personal level. Girls aren't in general called hoes, jumps, pops, smuts, sluts etc etc without reason. My friends from school and I just had this conversation. My boy Denzel said he knew a girl that slept with 10 of his friends who are all friends with eachother (and that's just his neighborhood). She's a certified pop. The general consensus is that you can have fun and do what you want but keep standards at the least. Every guy you have sex with doesn't necessarily have to be a boyfriend for you to avoid the name calling. I say you're a hoe if you have sex with guys for what they can give you. I say you're easy if you have no standards (i.e. "he's cute" and that seals the deal) or if you don't realize you've had sex with more guys than there is in your high school class picture. To say the least, girls aren't called hoes for no reason. And to address the guy does the same thing he's a pimp thing. Well, its all a pride thing. Guys are just as self conscious and insecure as females are on the low. It's more like competition. If everyone a guy hangs with is nice at basketball and he's terrible they will remind him of it every chance they get. In an equal parallel, guys will remind you that you "ain't on their level" as a sort of "i'm better than you" thing. I can't deal with hoes so I think it says something about the trend. Hoes seek hoes. Think about it.

The mess I ran across on mediatakeout

What's goin on with souljaboy's head?
So they were talking about his little ass chain but umm can we please talk about that hot ass mess of a leather fila track suit Rick Ross got on....Smh that's a shame! he's wearing the whole cow man! The environment, Rick, the environment!
They were praising the boyfriend but umm what happened to her? lol Whitney and Bobby need to step their games upKanye just need to leave that poor girl alone. She still bad though :-)

that is all...after that it's who's taking naked pictures and all that explicit nonesense...until next time :-D

P.S. i'm F***IN excited for the Jordan XI Space Jams to come out....might go to bmore and camp out to make sure I get those

Am I trying to get social?

So there was a mini club fair in my school...It was a fairly feeble attempt on my part to become a bit more social lol....We'll see if it works....First question I asked was whether the club held meetings...why?...well because i'd be attending ABSOLUTELY NONE of them lol....Between work and just regualr classes I don't see myself having time for random extra-curricular activity but who knows maybe perhaps that may change in the near future....Until then meetingless clubs and trying to make friends by asking for hw in my classes lol

A world first: Vaccine helps prevent HIV infection

BANGKOK – For the first time, an experimental vaccine has prevented infection with the AIDS virus, a watershed event in the deadly epidemic and a surprising result. Recent failures led many scientists to think such a vaccine might never be possible.

The vaccine cut the risk of becoming infected with HIV by more than 31 percent in the world's largest AIDS vaccine trial of more than 16,000 volunteers in Thailand, researchers announced Thursday in Bangkok.

Even though the benefit is modest, "it's the first evidence that we could have a safe and effective preventive vaccine," Col. Jerome Kim said in a telephone interview. He helped lead the study for the U.S. Army, which sponsored it with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

The Amber Rose Dilemna

Ok so I recently say a post about this on my friends blog (http://goldnraysofsunshine.blogspot.com/). Now I agree with her that the look isn't for everybody. What look is? Anyway, I don't whole heartedly agree with her criteria. For one thing, natural coarse hair doesn't mean that you can't get away with rocking a close cut. Prime example, international renowned model Alek Wek. She's pure African and looks amazing in her close cut. She's obviously well groomed but that's all it really takes, proper grooming. The next thing I can't whole heartedly agree with is the whole flawless look thing. While this is a plus it's not a necessity. I mean Amber Rose is just gorgeous but for the most part still human. Rarely will you ever see her without make up and the truth is not all of these barbies are stunning without make up on. It doesn't mean you are out for this look. The whole body thing, well again all a plus for the look but not a necessity. I know some pretty big girls with close cuts and I mean again referring to Alek Wek, she's long and slender but still rocks this do with ferocity. Lastly, style counts. Just about the only thing I can whole heartedly agree with is style. If you lack in it there isn't much you can pull off. If you have to try to hard to make any do or outfit look good on you then I hope you're not too self conscious. I think the biggest thing to worry about when pulling off this look is if you have the head shape for it and if the proportions are there. Anyway, that is all!!

I'm finally making some PROGRESS....I'm signing with a production company....they call themselves Prince Knight Productions...It's a black run production company....They put on their own productions (including fashion shows, plays, short movies etc etc)...They train their models and actors and send them on castings for anything from fashion shows to film jobs....I'm hoping joining motivates me to do some more on my own....wish me luck....You can check PKP out by clicking here.

The Blueprint 3

You know I got it the day it came out...September 8th not the 11th....I must say i'm impressed....Sounds different coming from Jay on a whole....Jigga has this theme behind him....He's the best and he knows it and makes it a point to mention it on every trac...I aint mad at him though....Least its not like Kanye who's just a little too in your face about things....My favorite tracks on the album are Empire State of Mind, Already Home, Young Forever, Hate, Reminder, Real as it Gets, and Star is Born

Another Albums worth a listen:

KiD CuDi - Man on the Moon; End of the Day
